ABOUT US

We are a family-run business from the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. Aaron, Alicia, and Aidan started Muscle and Mind Recovery with the goal of providing the most affordable and high-quality recovery products that suit beginners to professional athletes. We also had the vision to give back to our local communities, charities, and athletes on their journey to becoming the best in their field.

The first conversation we had was that we really want to partner with a foundation that researches into mental health. So we did exactly that. We are extremely proud to be working with the Black Dog Institute by donating money out of each sale to combat the never-ending challenges that people face every day due to mental health.

CanI get a pro chiller with a regular sized tub?

Yes, you can. Send us an email and we can arrange for that to happen.

What’s the lowest temperature your ice baths can achieve?

Below 1 degree Celsius.

Why is your bath + chiller combo more expensive than competitors?

Our chillers are bigger and more powerful, our pro chiller comes with a Wi-Fi feature. Our packages have better filtration systems. Our pro baths are the largest on the market in Australia.

Are the pumps built inside the chillers?

Yes, they are. Upon installation only 2 pipes need to be connected and plugged into 1 power outlet. Unlike most competitors which require 2 outlets.

Yes, Muscle and Mind Recovery is a family-owned Australian business.

What separates you from the other competitors?

All our competitors stock the same ice baths, chillers, sauna tents etc. What makes Muscle and Mind Recovery different is our top of the range products. We also like to donate to institutions to support mental wellbeing.

How are your compression boots different to competitors?

Our compression boots have a heat function, an OLED display for simple navigation, and are 8 compression chambers as opposed to 5 compression chambers like other compression boots on the market. Our boots also come with freezable gel packs which are inserted into the pockets in the boots for rapid healing injuries.

Can your chillers be left running 24 hours a day?

Yes, the chillers are designed to run all day due to the self-regulating motor which will turn the chiller off once the desired temperature is achieved.

Is setting up the ice baths + chiller simple?

Yes, the instructions are very clear, there is also an instructional video on our website for any customer to view.

What happens if my ice bath gets a puncture?

The ice baths come with a full puncture repair kit in case of any wanted punctures.

Are your ice baths insulated?

Yes, we have 8 centimeters of insulation throughout the whole bath, including the lid.

Can your ice baths be set up outdoors?

Yes, our components are all waterproof and are safe for outdoor use.
